We have a beautiful set of these dishes and three have cracked in the microwave. There is no warnings about this anywhere on sites selling this brand.

Does anyone know the truth?

Looks like they are not suitable for microwave-usually crockery has it written underneath if suitable for freezer or microwave? I wouldn’t put any special crockery in m/w, or dishwasher.

I would not put WW in the mocro. Get a paper plate and then put it on the WW after.

I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago, but with my bone china. I will attempt to give you the explanation I received. I understand this isn’t the same as the Wedgewood Tuscany collection, but perhaps it may help.
The “problem”, I was told, was due to the molding process.
Because the mold is in several pieces, there are seams along the greenware where the molds fit together. Workers use damp sponges and finishing knives to smooth out the surface and remove the seam marks. When placed in a microwave, these seams can split apart thus causing breakage.
    I hope this helps.
    Good luck!
