I love these glasses. They were a great price and everyone likes the way they look. The spring hinges keep them from sliding off your face but don’t feel tight against you temples.

These are great glasses, and I’m happy with my purchase. But there are some things you just can’t tell from a photograph, and two such things surprised me when I saw the glasses up close and personal: 1. The “racing stripes” on the sides are painted on (not inlay). 2. I wonder what kind of plastic they’re made out of. It sounds a bit brittle or cheap when tapped. But at this point I can’t really say. . . Maybe they’ll last forever!

I ordered these glasses in PURPLE & they were to be shipped on 5/20 or 21. On 21st I got an email from Boomer Eyewear stating they didn’t have them in Purple, only clear or orange & which color did I want them to send. I wanted neither; I wanted to talk on the phone to discuss my options for something similar in PURPLE. I called Amazon on the 24th to get Boomer phone number & left a msg for Boomer to call me. I heard nothing & left another msg 5/26. Finally they called leaving a msg & stated they had sent me 2 emails with info BUT I GOT NEITHER MSG. I called again, asked about an alternate but the persons computer wasn’t working right so she couldn’t describe the options. I finally cancelled the order & will never deal with this company again.

was disappointed they were stark black not green like in pic. company acknowledged photo isnt accurate and the glasses never came in green. wtf? they are comfortable and strong.
