Q&A: how old do you have to be rent a villa in Orlando?
Question by Sok Han Au: how old do you have to be rent a villa in Orlando?
I’m turning seventeen but in my senior year of high school i wanted to go to Orlando with a couple of friends and play there for a week but i think renting a villa would be cheaper than renting a hotel room. So is there a age requirement for renting a villa? I hope not though. But i will be eighteen though by then.

You generally have to be at least 18 to rent anything, because you have to be old enough to sign a contract. You will probably also need a credit card – if you don’t have one by then (including a debit card associated with your checking account) you may need to either use your parent’s card, or negotiate something with the owner so that you can make a deposit beforehand. Also, some hotels, possibly some vacation rentals, do not rent to anyone under 21, so be prepared to shop around if necessary. And actually, a single hotel room is almost certainly going to be cheaper than a villa.
